We work closely with clients and our Team360 technicians to ensure we understand everything they need so we can guarantee complete satisfaction.  Our goal is to exceed our client’s expectations and we achieve this by a commitment to excellence in products and service.

How long does the disinfectant take to work and is it safe?

Using our electrostatic disinfection process it begins working immediately.  30 -60 Second kill-rate (10 minute dwell/dry time).  It is safe, stable and does not require a long re-entry interval post application.

The Hypochlorous Acid (HOCI) disinfecting agents we use are EPA N List registered.  It is among nature's most powerful antimicrobial compounds which is proven to kill bacteria, fungi, and viruses, yet is non-toxic and safe. Coupled with an electrostatic charge, we are able to disinfect your facility much more rapidly with far less chemicals, all around surfaces 360 degrees.

We also use NaDCC – PURTABS/PUR:ONE.  This is essentially similar to table salt and very safe.  It can be used to disinfect water when needed.  The CDC further states that alternative compounds that release chlorine, such as sodium dichloroisocyanurate (NaDCC – PURTABS/PUR:ONE), are more advantageous in that they retain chlorine longer and so exert a more prolonged bactericidal effect. Sodium dichloroisocyanurate tablets are stable, the microbicidal activity of solutions prepared from sodium dichloroisocyanurate tablets are greater than that of sodium hypochlorite solutions containing the same total available chlorine.

How long do I need to stay out of the facility after the disinfectant has been applied?

1 hour.  Typically the disinfectant dries within 5 - 10 minutes but we recommend staying out of the serviced area for 1 hour.  The space can be reoccupied 1 hour after the technician is finished treating the area. It is safe, stable and does not require a long re-entry interval post application. We offer customized solutions so it is dependent upon services and products used.

Does the disinfectant kill COVID-19?

The active ingredient in the HOCI disinfectants we use have been shown to be proven effective at destroying all viruses, including COVID-19, in addition to all pathogens, bacteria, and fungi. We use EPA N LIST registered, hospital-grade disinfectant and germicides that have been specially formulated to target the dangerous pathogens that standard janitorial and cleaning services may leave behind.

Our Disinfecting Service is effective against more than 140 viruses and bacteria:

Coronavirus SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID 19
– C. DIFF
MRSA
 Multi-drug resistant Bacteria

What Disinfectant are we using?

We customize the solution for each client based on the type of facility and occupancy levels.  All disinfectants we utilize offer high performance without the harsh chemicals, proven effective to kill dangerous pathogens and bacteria microbes, and fungi.

  • EPA N-List hospital-grade disinfecting agents with proven effectiveness
  • Harmless to humans, pets, and the environment
  • 99.999% effective
  • Food Safe
  • pH Neutral
  • Non-corrosive
  • Will not cause mutation of other “super bugs”
  • More cost effective and efficient than conventional disinfectants and processes

We use broad-spectrum disinfecting agents that harnesses the power of HOCI (hypochlorous acid) solution. It is the most effective disinfectant in the chlorine family.  It reacts more rapidly than other chlorine based disinfectants. Derived from naturally occurring minerals, and not only eliminates odors at their source but kills a wide range of bacteria, including Staphylococcus aureus, MRSA, Salmonella enterica and Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and viruses including Coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 the virus that causes Covid-19, norovirus, and adenovirus on hard, non-porous, environmental surfaces.

Our solution offers high performance without the harsh chemicals.  The EPA N-List hospital-grade disinfecting agents we use have demonstrated and proven effectiveness against viruses, on hard, non-porous surfaces.  It is safer than bleach yet deadly for all infectious pathogens it comes in contact with. The unique chemistry in our solution is non-toxic and safe enough for daily use, yet powerful enough to kill dangerous microbes.  All solutions we use are 99.999% effective and will eliminate bacteria microbes, virus pathogens, and fungi spores that may reside in your home or business without the use of harsh chemicals or fumes.

Is Bleach more powerful -  Isn't bleach the most effective Disinfectant?

The CDC states that household bleach being used to sanitize and disinfect, while having a broad spectrum of antimicrobial activity, contributes to ocular irritation or oropharyngeal, esophageal, and gastric burns, is corrosive to metals in high concentrations (>500 ppm), is inactivated by organic matter, discolors or "bleaches" fabrics, and releases of toxic chlorine gas when mixed with ammonia or acid (e.g., household cleaning agents).

(CDC Guidelines for Disinfection and Sterilization in Healthcare Facilities). For schools or daycare, the CDC further recommends the use of a EPA registered disinfectants.

Is it safe to use around desktops, keyboards, laptops, monitors and phones?

Yes, it can be used around standard office equipment such as laptops, desktops, keyboards and monitors but should not be applied directly to any sensitive electronics.  Depending on the monitor it may need to be covered.  We do not treat IDF and MDF rooms.

Will the disinfectant stain fabrics?

Unlike bleach and other products, our solution does not discolor color-safe fabrics. They should NOT be used on non-colorfast fabrics, wool or silk fabrics, or any fabric with a special finish.

How long does the antimicrobial surface protectant work?

It depends on the antimicrobial solution being used and is also up to the client.  One of the antimicrobial solutions states 4 weeks and we have additional solutions that will last up to 90 days and provide continuous protection.  Please be aware it is important to continue to clean and avoid bio-film and soil from building-up and covering the surface for our antimicrobial to continue its effectiveness.  These products can supplement, but do not replace routine cleaning.  Consistency and a layered approach is key: clean, sanitize, disinfect, and protect, the safer your environment will be.  The longevity is impacted by the frequency of wear, friction, use, and the environment more than the type of surface.

The antimicrobial is meant to pierce the cell membranes of microbes that land on a surface between regular cleanings. This product is not a replacement for routine cleaning and disinfection with products from EPA’s List N: Disinfectants for Use Against SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19. EPA recommends that facilities continue to follow the cleaning and disinfection recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Use of this product does not eliminate the need for critical precautions like mask wearing, social distancing, and ventilation. Always follow CDC, state and local public health guidelines. Please note that according to the CDC, while “it may be possible that a person can get COVID-19 by touching a surface or object that has the virus on it and then touching their own mouth, nose, or possibly their eyes,” the virus is thought to spread mainly through close contact between individuals.

For more information, see EPA's website.  EPA’s List N: Disinfectants for Use Against SARS-CoV-2 (List N)

What happens if my janitorial provider cleans with a disinfectant after the antimicrobial surface shield has been applied?

If the janitorial company applies a neutral or low pH disinfectant to the treated surface it will not harm the antimicrobial surface shield. Continue to perform regular cleaning - does not require constantly cleaning. High-touch point surfaces should be cleaned more frequently than low touch-point surfaces in order to keep biofilm and soil off the surface, just like you should be doing now.  They should use a low or pH neutral sanitizer and disinfectant.

Where can the antimicrobial surface protectant be used?

It can be applied to generally any surface, porous and non-porous.  We recommend applying the product to all primary work surfaces and contact areas in a building.  Peoples hands come in contact with more than just touch points. You want to protect every surface that comes into contact with someone's hands. We can focus on hard-surface touch points throughout a facility, including desks, keyboards, phones and workstations, as well as high-traffic areas such as copy rooms, break rooms, restrooms, and dining areas but we advise all work surfaces and contact areas in the building and applying the product 6' up the walls.  We do not treat IDF/MDF rooms.

How does the antimicrobial surface protectant work?

We us patented antimicrobial technology that provides continuous protection on surfaces and is proven to break down and protect against microbes. A safe and wise choice for microbe control anywhere clean is important. It creates an invisible shield to provide 24/7 surface protection for extended periods of time, 4 weeks up to 90 days.  It is dependent on the solution used and the client's preference. The unscented, colorless, water-based formula can be applied to a variety of surfaces.  This protectant is safe for humans, pets, and the environment.

When applied, the solution forms a bond with the surface, creating unparalleled antimicrobial activity with long-term stability and durability. Our coating acts as a protective barrier that bonds to surfaces on a molecular level during our electrostatic application. We utilize electrostatic sprayers and a specially formulated coating with an EPA registered active ingredient that acts like a spike to puncture the cell membranes of microbes on contact. The coating continues to work long after it dries by creating a layer that microbes literally cannot live on. Due to the positive electrical charge, it actively seeks out and attracts microbes to the surface, eliminating them on contact.

The rapid destruction of odor causing germs provides for odor control not available through traditional chemicals.  The coating physically disrupts and inhibits the growth of a wide variety of odor-causing bacteria, mold, fungi and algae by creating a force-field effect on surfaces. Once applied, it will not wash off a surface, or leach into the environment or your body. A surface with a shield is completely inhospitable to microbes and effective without poisons. Environmentally safe - No super bugs, cross contamination, leaching, or off gassing.

Will there be any physical changes to my surfaces after treatment?

Yes.  Not only will our antimicrobial surface shield protection continuously fight the growth of micro-organisms that can cause stains, odors and product degradation.  It also produces a protective non-toxic surface coating and will make it easier to clean and keep surfaces fresher and odor free between cleanings.

Is the antimicrobial surface protectant safe?

Yes it is safe.
